Sweet Creations Recipe - Cincy Firecrackers

07.01.2021

Fourth of July Weekend is the perfect time to celebrate American-made, local companies and their amazing products. We decided to try our hand at mixing up the perfect Fourth of July drink using our delicious Italian Ice! To make this a true Cincy Firecracker, be sure to use Karrikan Base Vodka with our Red Raspberry Italian Ice; the result is worth it, we promise!

We tried making our Cincy Firecrackers in champagne flutes and in martini glasses, but feel free to try it out in any of your favorite party glasses. And don't forget the Pop Rocks for that extra kick!

So mix up some Cincy Firecrackers, grill up some burgers from Findlay Market, and enjoy the fireworks!

Cincy Firecracker Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Part Karrikan Base Vodka

  • 2 Parts Jones Soda Berry Lemonade (Or any blue soda you like)

  • Aglamesis Red Raspberry Italian Ice

  • Strawberry and Blue Raspberry Pop Rocks, for garnish (We got ours from Loveland Sweet Shoppe)

Steps:

  1. Mix the Pop Rocks and arrange in a ring on a small plate, reserving a few for sprinkling on top.
  2. Dip the rim of your glass in lemon juice, then press into the ring of pop rocks. Twist back and forth to help the Pop Rocks stick.
  3. Pour in one part Karrikan Base Vodka (use a shot glass to fit the drink in a champagne flute or martini glass).
  4. Carefully pour in two parts of Jones Soda Berry Lemonade.
  5. Using a tablespoon for champagne flutes or an ice cream scoop for martini glasses, add a scoop of Aglamesis Red Raspberry Italian Ice.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining Pop Rocks on top.
  7. Enjoy!
